About us:
The Hodgeman County Appraiser's Dept. is responsible for discovering, assessing, listing and valuing all property in Hodgeman County. Cliff is the County Appraiser and his top-notch staff are Tasha and Tammy. Each year the Appraiser must review recent real estate sales and consider local economic conditions in order to maintain the most current value of the property in the county. The Appraiser's goal is equalization of property taxes.
The Appraiser's Dept. sets the values for real estate, personal property, oil & gas. The Dept. is also responsible for change of ownership, parcel maintenance and mapping.
As with all County Departments and Offices, the Appraiser's Dept. emphasizes that its staff are here to serve and assist the public.
